Affordable Comfort with a Touch of Local Flair at Alameda During my recent stay at Alameda, I found myself in an interesting space where value met comfort. As an adventure seeker from Toronto, I often look for accommodations that don't break the bank but still offer a cozy atmosphere to recharge for the next day of exploration. The hostel's location is a significant plus, with plenty of local shops nearby and a lovely terrace to relax on while listening to the nightly concerts from the square. The double-room we booked was clean and equipped with efficient air conditioning-essential in Brazil's warm climate. Ms. Soria, our host, was genuinely helpful, which certainly enhanced our experience. The hostel does have some limitations. The shared bathrooms could use more privacy, as only one could be locked, and the small lockers left us a bit worried. With only three showers for the entire space, it might get crowded, especially during peak hours. All things considered, Alameda serves as a practical and budget-friendly choice-especially when you factor in the rental bikes that let you swiftly reach the beach. If you're seeking a blend of local experience without the luxury price tag, this place could fit the bill. Just keep in mind what you're willing to compromise!
